Become a Member of SDWEA

As a non-profit, we rely on our membership fees to support SDWEA’s mission. A strong and diverse membership helps SDWEA represent all aspects of wind energy in an effective way with policymakers and the public. By being a member of SDWEA, you are helping support the promotion of wind energy through a reliable and recognized voice.

SDWEA membership is available at multiple levels. Voting rights and board representation is available to Class II, III and IV members on the SDWEA Board of Directors. Class IV members are automatically members of the Board of Directors. All members are eligible to be appointed to an SDWEA committee.

SDWEA Membership Levels are:

Class IV Members: $3,200
Class III Members: $1,200
Class II Members: $ 600
*Class I Members: $ 150

Membership dues are for the calendar year and renewed annually.

* Voting rights and board representation is available to Class II, III and IV Members. Class I members have access to SDWEA website, newsletter and will receive personal invitation to the Annual Meeting and Wind Energy Day at the Capitol.
